Father Schnepp retired in 1984. He died of heart failure on October 16, 1992 at age 88 and during his 71st year in the Marianists. St. Mary grads may remember Father Schnepp as Father Blemker's assistant, the priest with the wry sense of humor, similar to Barry Fitzgerald in Going My Way.
