Elmer W. Erutti

According to Dan's brother Ike, Dan passed away test flying a high performance sport bi-plane.  While putting the

plane through its paces and attempting a steep dive, one of the wings either collapsed or broke away from the airplane, resulting in Dan's death.  Ike Bouck is a Flight Officer for American Airlines, and I was a member of his

crew when he shared this account with me.
