Tom and I played baseball on the same team in the sixties, and I was having a good year at the plate. Tom asked me if he could use my bat, and relucantly I let him, and he broke it. Tom was a good man. Ran into him at the reunion in 1987. Too bad he passed away.

Tom was a good guy, and a good athlete at Lindbergh ... football QB, basketball starting guard and good at breaking guy’s bats in the Spring.  I ran into him a few times at Mizzou where he was an ATO, just around the corner from my SigEp house.   Does anyone know what got him so young???

Tom was a good friend and team mate at Lindbergh.  Have not seen him in a while.  Yes, he did like to break bats, but he was a great hitter on the baseball team, and a really good athlete.  Also he was one of the good guys in life.  Sorry to see him pass.  Jim Marcum

Friend, teammate and someone with whom I lost contact years ago. Not sure why but his passing affects me more than most of the deaths of our classmates -friends. RIP Tom.
