Johnny Bellman

Classmates, it saddens me to report what some or many of you may already know.  We have lost one of our own.  Johnny (aka Roy Edward) Bellman died this June in Florida.  He had experienced a number of health problems over the last year or so.

I spoke with John's wife, Valerie, who gave me some information to pass along.  There will be a service for John at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, 02 August, at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.  John was a Vietnam War veteran, having received a Bronze Star for his service.  Those of you who've remained in or around St. Louis undoubtedly know where the cemetery is, but for the benefit of all, here's a link to the official website:

https://www.cem.va.gov/cems/nchp/jeffersonbarracks.asp

John and Valerie attended our 50th in 2012.

I know Valerie, John's sisters, and his children would all appreciate meeting and talking with any of his classmates who can attend.  For those who want to contact Valerie directly to express condolences or inquire about his burial service, her email is: valerie0920@msn.com

Regards,

Steve
