Roxanne Binder (Kidder)

It was a wonderful reunion. So many fun elements and surprises. Thank you to all who worked so hard on making this event extra special. I think it was the best reunion yet, and it was so well attended. I wish I could have visited with many more of you. A special thank you to whomever did the caricatures. They were incredible.

Thank you all very much for your comments that meant the world to me in knowing that you all had a lot of fun, smiles, laughter and a GREAT time visiting with our fellow classmates. Only a mad man would come up with those ideas ( okay, I won't say who it was, I claim the 5th,on the grounds, I might incriminate myself). My son had a fun time in drawing the caricatures. I had to cut him off on Oct.1. So sorry for some not getting one.The Dave Frazer table was set up as a joke between myself and Dave and since nobody fit in those categories it wasn't used, which was great! I am sorry for the sound system not working as there were some other things planned. I enjoyed the faces as members saw their friends with smiles, hugs and warm welcomes. There were some great pictures drawn of ducks and dogs wearing the goggles along with a lot of laughs. Thank you to everyone that attended you made the reunion fun! I had fun working with Yvette, Kathy,Nikki, Linda, Francene,Jeff,Candace, Bob Dedic (music), Deb ( making the Year book quilt and sewing all the corn hole bags) I'm sure I'm forgetting some,my apologies. I learned that all the silent auction items went to the right people. Again my sincere thanks to all and I wish you all continued good health!
I look forward to seeing everyone in 5 years.

So happy to hear you all had a great time. I hope to be able to attend the 55 year reunion. Can't wait to see all the pictures. Please include me in your prayers as I have cancer again. Surgery is scheduled for October 29. Thank you, see you in 5.

Many thanks to the members of the reunion committee that hosted our 50th year Park High Reunion. It was an amazing night of catching up & visiting with friends and classmates. There were a lot of smiles, hugs and laughter. Thank you for all the work & preparations that went into this great get-together. We appreciate this sharing website; we are now able to stay connected to our classmates.

I would like to acknowledge Francene's husband Dan for all his help in setting up the venue. Very much appreciated and Francene' daughter Abby for her photography. The pictures will be sent to Steve Hardy to be uploaded on the website. Again my appreciation yo everyone!

Gail thanks you and Steve for attending the next day.I had a good time talking to Steve and hearing how he still does a lot of waterskiing.
I was hoping to do a sing along and I'm sure he would have stepped right up. However the lack of working microphones didn't allow it. Even the venues microphone didn't work very well.

Joanne, prayers for you and the recession of your cancer. We expect to see you at the next reunion! With all smiles!

Joanne, thanks for sharing and I will be praying! I will also be praying the wait until surgery goes quick, that the outcome is great; and the best as Bob said, we will see you in five years smiling.  To everyone who did all that hard work, I was impressed for all the details! The reunion was a great time visiting; but, I ran out of time. Bob you were right, I missed my bed time and after that hour I began to walk and talk like a zombie. No excuses for before that hour and for the next day at the restaurant. I did not know how kind my classmates were and are! Thanks for the great night!

Jessica, thanks for carrying out that basket to my vehicle! I did foolishly try to carry it into the house with one and a half arms. You are a blessing!

Bob, where are you, Bob? At your age, I imagined you had to take a few weeks to recover.

10/30/24 09:28 AM #2634

Robert Ayre

Hello Dave! Yes, finally recovered from my let down from putting the reunion together with help from others. It was a fun time! I will look forward to now just attending the next one that I'm sure will be a lot of fun with Tom Hines and his wife putting it together. I guess you no longer have to "sling" hash, or chase rabbits with your "sling" shot! Glad you are all healed and ready to shovel snow when it comes. Enjoy this beautiful fall weather and the beautiful fall colors!!

Classmates i need your help as Linda Kreyer inadvertently left a deck of trivia cards at the reunion. They were based on trivia from 1974. Unfortunately we're not used with the lack of an operating microphone. If you picked it up could you please send it to Yvette and she will forward it on to Linda. Thank you very much!
We are working on getting pictures transferred onto a flash drive to send to Steve, then to be put on the website. Please stay healthy and safe until we meet again. We will keep trying to get a summer event in the meantime.

Bob, you better not tell my wife I'm healed. I won't be able to milk it for all its worth anymore. My doctor said it will be March before I'm done healing. Able to lift a coffee cup (with liquid now). I'm glad you are recovering!

Dave, your wife is smarter than you think as she has been testing you with small jobs here and there. Better add some hershey's syrup to your milking to sweeten your excuses. And as far as healing I'm sure you are still on a leash for you haven't learned how to "heal" quite yet. Maybe sit, stay, come, fetch, and lay down by your dish! Oh wait that's me!
Thank you again for all your help and prayers for everyone! I'm getting one of those slings so I have an excuse not to rake leaves! 😄

Bob, aging isn't easy for some of us. I've been told that the secret is finding ways to smile more. All the work the reunion task force did (and Yvonne is still doing) was incredible. And, all of you had things to do besides the reunion, like family, work, and sleeping.

Dearest of Veterans.  Thank you so much for all you did.  It is greatly appreciated.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING Everyone! What is your favorite cranberries? Mine is the one that looks like a can. Takes a lot of work to make it look like it is a can.. smiley

11/25/24 07:51 PM #2645

Robert Ayre

Dave, that sounds liked a canned response.
Although I must admit I do prefer the jellied
Cranberries myself nice and cold.
I am also wishing everyone a very fulfilled Thanksgiving. Family time is what it's all about. So, create some fun lasting memories and stay healthy and safe in your travels. I had an early turkey as I was driving the speed limit, they passed me and gave me the bird.
I hope all is well Steve H. Thank you for maintaining the website!

I've posted the 50 year reunion photo gallery, and I've opened it up so that others can post photos there as well.

Feel free to add some pics!
