Daniel Scot Underdahl

July 27, 1956 – June 12, 2023

Dan made the transition peacefully at 7:00 a.m. on June 12th 2023 with his beloved wife of 31 years by his side.

Dan died of complications due to a type of leukemia called myelofibrosis.

He is survived by his wife, Ivy Borg Underdahl, 66.

Brother Doug Underdahl, 68, of Fairmont, MN

Sister Lori (Bruce) Pettit, of West St. Paul, MN

Brother John Underdahl, 63, of Fairmont, MN

Sister Julia (Jim) Wagner, 58, of Hastings, MN

Niece Jamie Pettit, 34, of South St. Paul, MN

Aunt Linda (Larry) Rouhoff, of Rochester, MN

Step-daughter Kris Willemson

and many cousins.

Father Alfred Underdahl, of Pequot Lakes, MN

Dan and Ivy met in Fairmont, Minnesota in 1975. They were engaged in January of 1976. Circumstances separated them for many years until chance (or a Higher Power) brought them together again in 1991. They were married on Figueroa Mountain in Santa Ynez, California, on May 1st 1992 and were blessed with 31 years of marriage.
