Mike Stoner

Our classmate Mike Stoner passed away earlier today. 

Mike served in the Active Army for 4 years in Germany.  He spent rest of his military career in the National Guard winding up as a company commander. 

Mike worked for the Army as a civilian computer scientist after receiving a degree in computer science from UW Superior.  Mike was employed in Yuma AZ at Yuma proving ground.  Mike worked for me initially there; he went on to place commercial PC’s in to testing equipment. 

Mike retired a few years back and lived alone.  He was a great help to his neighbors most of whom were part time residents staying for the winter. 

Mike will be missed by many.
