HUNT, KATIE VODICKA, 35, of Babson Park, formerly of St. Petersburg, died Saturday (Sept. 1, 2001) at Good Shepherd Hospice from injuries received in an auto accident in 1999. Born in New York City, she moved to Babson Park 10 years ago from St. Petersburg. She was a homemaker. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Lake Wales and the YMCA of Lake Wales and was a volunteer for the Lake Wales Arts Council. She enjoyed tennis, weight lifting and water sports. Survivors include her husband, Ellis Jr.; a daughter, Maggie Hunt, Lake Wales; her father, Robert Vodicka, St. Petersburg; and a sister, Elizabeth "Lisa" Johnson, St. Petersburg. Marion Nelson Funeral Home, Lake Wales.
