The summer after I graduated high school, I started working for Comair, the Delta Connection at the Charlottesville/Albemarle Airport. I was able to travel anywhere on Delta that had a seat available...Paris, Rome, Prague, Hawaii, the Bahamas, the Virgin Islands, Tokyo and Jamaica, just to name a few. I was getting too comfortable in Charlottesville and was ready to start a new chapter in my life. In June of '03, I packed my bags and moved to San Diego.
Upon arriving to SoCal, I signed up with a management company that booked me background work in Joan of Arcadia, ER, Scrubs and a couple of made for TV movies for Lifetime. I was in an all girl band and lived by the beach. Since realizing my life was going in a downward spiral (mo' money mo' problems, right?), I pulled my head outta my ass and moved to where my family had migrated to.....Mississippi. They survived Hurricane Katrina. I was feeling humanitarian-esque and wanted to help rebuild the Coast so here I am, 2 and a half years later.
Luckily, I have a wonderful job with the airlines so I'm able to fly again. I put up with alot of crap like 'What do you mean the flight's DELAYED' and 'YOU lost my bag AGAIN' but it's all worth it when I score a First Class seat, to Maui and I'm drunk before we take off.
I think I'm pretty much the same as I was in high school. I'm still a gossip whore, still crazy, still love to laugh til I'm sore, my hair's shorter but still really long so I can still be.....that girl with the really long hair.
