Um hi, I'm Lauren and I was the 2nd Runner Up of the 2008 Junior Miss Program. I also have a small plastic trophy declaring me the "Most Serious" of my fellow participants - totally true, I was really uptight a lot and probably took Junior Miss a little too seriously. However, I learned to finally loosen up and when I did, I had a blast.
Well I'm currently attending the Univeristy of Kentucky, reading great works of literature, apreciating foreign and independent films, golfing, sketching, writing short stories and poetry, watching great movies, and contemplating Life's greatest questions - for example "Where for art thou Romeo".
Pertaining to Junior Miss, I enjoyed my experience and and am happy that this wonderful scholarship program exists. The best thing about Junior Miss is that it's a chance to earn money for college while learning to come out of your shell. I will say, Junior Miss can be quite stressful at times but its worth it.
I want to thank all the people who helped with the routines and fundraising and those that continue to do so. I know that it's a neverending job that takes a lot of hard work and dedication, and for that I thank you. This program means so much to the girls that get to experience it.
