After my 1997 graduation from LCHS, I attended Somerset Community College and the University of Kentucky to obtain my B. S. in Biology. I married Troy in June 2001. I then completed my M.A. in Education. Troy and I then moved to Fort Thomas. He is a manager at The Home Depot in Florence, and I have been teaching biology and chemistry at Campbell County High School for the past five years. We welcomed Tyler Wayne Phelps into our lives last summer, and life has been so much fuller now that he's in our world.

One summer, my friend, Jenny Demrow, and I got to help Mr. Stuart (LCHS Athletic Director and Administrator) paint the parking lot. We thought we were pretty tough because we got paid well, and we got to work on our tans! Unfortunately, we can't count very well because we left out a few parking spaces. Mr. Stuart never let us live it down either. Neither of us will admit to being the one who did it!
