I agree with Kristan, this is going to be nice to see where and what has changed with everyone throughout the years.

Hey Ryan, kudos for pulling this together. I was kinda wondering when/if something was going to happen toward the reunion..good timing:)

I had discussed the idea of trying to rent the fan deck at an Eau Claire baseball game over the summer with a couple different people and I think that has some potential. I believe we have a little extra money that our class raised..?

Also, I know there are some of us that would have to arrange travel/lodging back in the Stanley area for the reunion, so I think it would be great if this thing could be finalized a solid 2 months ahead of time.

I would like it if you would add Andy, Kristin, and Lacey to the roster as well so they can be added to the "In Memory" page.

Hey guys,
Nice to know that people are talking already on the message forum. Hope everyone is doing well! I agree with Zach that we need to get this thing going because many people will have to make travel arrangements. I am so excited to see everyone again!

An idea that my mom and Melissa Nelson mentioned to me was renting the banquet room at Action City. It seems like a fun place where we could reunite but there is also stuff we can do there besides sitting at tables and talking. Anyways, give it a look and see what u think.

Action City offers 55,000 square feet of fun for all ages and that's not including the outdoor fun! Enjoy mini-bowling, laser tag, bumper cars, a volcanic climbing wall, indoor and outdoor go karts, a huge arcade and prize store, state-of-the-art indoor batting cages for baseball/softball, a soft-play area, and six themed birthday/gathering rooms. The Metropolis Room inside Action City also accommodates up to 400 people for larger events. It's a room that can be set as casual or upscale as you'd like. Also check out Action City's great food. What are you waiting for?

Hope we can get this thing rolling.... ttyl

Hi everyone,

I like the idea of actually doing something as a class for our reunion but I also like being able to sit and get to know everyone again. I really like the baseball idea, but I think maybe afterwards we should have lunch or dinner at a hall or something. I don't know I guess I like action city as well just because it has everything all in one package, and there is a hotel with water park attached that could be fun.

It would be great to know ahead of time what's going on. I am not sure, but i think some time in the summer would be great, July would be perfect for me, thats when i was planning on coming home, but i don't know about everyone else. whatever works.

Hi everyone!!! It will be nice to see you all again.

This idea was sent to me, and I am posting it so others can see and comment...

Here is an idea that my brother had once thought of for his class reunion, but somehow fell through the cracks. He suggested having it the weekend of the Otter Lake Chicken Feed. I think it is the first part of July. The dinners are under $10, for chicken (1/2, 1/4), beans, chips, coleslaw, and a milk, and the do have beer at there to purchase as desired. The class could reserve or rent (not sure how it works) a pavillion up on the hill, somewhat away from the actual event, but still have the ability to go get the chicken dinner and support a local event/fundraiser. With having a pavillion to ourselves we can have beverages of our choice, be able to talk with others, and if wanted people could plan to go somewhere later that night. I am sure if this was the plan we might have to inform them ahead of time to accomidate. For more info the best person to call would be Butch and Kathy Kuester at the Otter Lake Bait Shop. If individuals wanted they could also reserve campsites. Just an idea, see what you think.

Ryan,
I like that idea a lot about the chicken dinner. I know that not everyone is going to be pleased about any of the choices that have come up, so you should just decide the one you think is best. That way everyone knows what is going on at least a month before hand.

I agree to just choose something you think would great for out class to meet, I may not make it if it is at the first part of July. I will be coming home at the end so, whatever you guys decide will be fine with me. Best wishes to everyone!!!!!!!

Hey Everyone. We should message our classmates who are on Facebook and all the other sites and tell them about Ryan's web site so they can be in the loop on the class reunion. Hope you all are well.
