After graduation, I aquired a bachelor's degree in communication with an emphasis in journalism from MSU. I worked in journalism both in Lafayette and Monroe, Louisiana, for more than three years, then chose to move into education. I graduated with a M.A.T from ULM at Monroe in 2011, and after several years in the 5th grade classroom, I've obtained my Ed-Leader license and currently serve as assistant principal at Ferriday Lower Elementary School. I currently live in Vidalia, LA.
