He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert Newell Smith and Frances Guise Smith; and his sisters, LouElla Tindal and Roberta Wallace. He is survived by : his children, Scott Smith (Angela) and Whitney Parrish (Walt); his siblings, Roger Smith and Joyce Scott; and his granddaughters, Sadie and Lucy.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 16th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors - Borger (314 S Hedgecoke St, Borger, TX 79007).
