Stinnett High School Class of 1964 50 year reunion.

We've designated the Homewood Suites in Amarillo as the principal reunion hotel.  We will be gathering with the Classes of '60, '61, and '62 on Saturday night and sharing a meal with them.

Time (PM)     Hotel Check-in -Welcome out of town guests

Time (6:30 - 10:00PM)     Informal Gathering at Logan's Roadhouse,     8310 I-40 W, walking distance from Homewood Suites.  Join us for socializing and if you desire a refreshing beverage or dinner - your choice - your tab.

8:30 a.m.    Road Trip to Stinnett:  Visit Heritage Center, High School

11:30 a.m.  Return to Amarillo.  Possible group lunch in Borger on the return trip.

4:00 p.m.    Happy Hour with Classes '60, '61, and '62 @ Homewood Suites.      (Open Bar* at 5:00)

 6:30 p.m.    Dinner Catered by Dyer's BBQ-Steak or Chicken ($25 per person*)

If you don't like BBQ or on a diet, come anyway and socialize during the dinner hour.  There is no requirement to purchase a dinner.

8:00 p.m.    Short Class Meeting

8:15 p.m.     Rememberance of deceased classmates

8:30 p.m.     Visit and dance to music of the later 50's and early 60's

                         Class photos sometime after dinner.  Let's make sure our class has the most class members present for our photo.  It is the 50th anniversary of our graduation.

Time (?):  Informal gathering for breakfast at Homewood Suites

 

*  The open bar is being sponsored by contributions from anyone that would like to contribute.  Just add your contribution to your check for the meal.  We do have some reunion underwriters that will be recognized during the reunion.  Checks for meals and your contribution for drinks can be sent to Larry Anderson's office (see below).

Rooms have been reserved at Homewood Suites for Friday and Saturday night at the rate of $109 per night.  If you need a room for those nights, you should call Homewood Suites  806-355-2222 and confirm your reservation with a credit card.  Use the name Bobby Bain/Class of 1964 to get the $109 rate.  The rooms at the special rate will be held until October 1st, after that date you are on your own.  You might be able to get rooms for a lower rate using AAA or senior rate.
