John Ouellette

Ambre is an engineer with GE Power Systems and lives in Ballston Spa, NY. Lena is an Elementary teacher in Chaplin and lives in Mansfield, CT. Jan is the IT technical specialist for a school district in Pensacola, FL. James is a Fiscal Manager for the school of Fine Arts at UConn and lives in Mansfield.

We still live in Mansfield in the house we built in 1983. I still run and have logged over 500 miles on the Escarpment Trail run (an 18.9 mile run on a footpath across 6 mountains in the Catskills) We have spent our summers since 2010, seeing the country and our national parks by motorcycle (towing a small pop-up). We are now on our 4th Goldwing - a 2018 DCT. Before the pandemic, in February 2020, we bought a Motorhome so Jo could support me as I began section hiking the Appalachian Trail. I was soon joined on the trail by Jo. The last year has seen us staying close to home as we cared for my elderly mother but we hope to continue our adventures soon.
