Son, Christopher Manning, BA from Maryville College, Master's from UT, degree from Mundelein Seminary More…in Chicago. He was ordained a deacon in the Roman Catholic Church 8/2012 & was ordained to the priesthood in 2013. He is currently the chaplain at Notre Dame high school in Chattanooga Tennessee and associate pastor at Saint Stephen’s Catholic Church in Chattanooga. In 6/2024 he became pastor of Saint Mary Catholic Church in Athens, TN.
Daughter, Whitney Manning, was graduated from Emory & Henry College in Emory, VA, 5/2011 w/major in policical science & psychology. She was graduated from the law school at the University of Memphis in 2014. She move to Colorado, where she practiced law until 12/2022 when she moved to Chattanooga where she practices now. .
