STREATOR -- Margaret Mary Yuhas, 64, of Streator died Thursday, June 22 at St. Mary's Hospital in Streator.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Anthony of Padua Church in Streator. Msgr. Jerome Ham will officiate.

Visitation will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the Solon, Baker and Telford Funeral Home in Streator, with the rosary recited at 3 p.m. Burial will be in St. Anthony Cemetery in Streator.

Ms. Yuhas was born Dec. 24, 1941, in Streator to Henry and Margaret (Gall) Benner. She married Vincent Yuhas on May 2, 1964, at St. Stephen's Church.

She attended St. Stephen's Grade School and graduated from Streator High School in 1960. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church, the altar and rosary society of the church and belonged to the St. Anthony Adult Choir. She sang at funerals and weddings in the Streator and surrounding area for over 20 years.

She is survived by her husband; two sons, Vincent (Amy) Yuhas Jr. of Torrance, Calif., and Timothy (Melissa) Yuhas of Bloomington; seven grandchildren, Charles, Malinda, Maranda, Chad, Lindsey, Leah and Lauren Yuhas; four sisters, Marita Jones of Streator, Betty (Doug) Winn of Streator, Joanne Taylor of Virginia and Bernadette (Rich) Terrell of Normal; and three brothers, Edward (Margaret) Benner of Streator, Richard (Sandy) Benner, Streator and Lawrence (Evelyn) Benner of Streator.

Pallbearers will be Mike and Ron Benner, Dan, and Mark Yuhas, Rick Jones, Scott Terrell, Brad Orban and Greg Spangler.

Memorials may be directed to St. Anthony Building Fund or the charity of the donors choice.

I will certainly miss seeing and visiting with Margaret Mary at the reunions. We attend St. Stephens grade school together. I will always remember her beautiful voice and she always was smiling, with a positive attitude.
