Patricia Erwin 1942-2007

STREATOR -- Patricia "Pat" E. Erwin, 65, of Streator, died Monday evening, June 11, at her home. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Grace Community Church in Streator with the Rev. Chuck Giacinto officiating. Burial will be in New Jerusalem Cemetery in Streator. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the church. Solon, Baker & Telford Funeral Home in Streator was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Erwin was born May 30, 1942, in Chicago, to Gregory H. "Dick" and Dorothy (Everett) Beumel. She married Gerald V. Erwin on June 5, 1965, at Immaculate Conception Church.

She graduated from Streator Township High School in 1960 and Rockford School of Business. She was employed by her parents' business, The House of Magic Bowling Lanes, and Rudy's-Thrifty-Mart, Stage Department Store and Ace Hardware, all in Streator

She was a member of the Red Hat Ladies, Ladies of Leisure Euchre Club and Grace Community Church, where she formerly was in Praise Singers. She also performed at Engle Lane Theatre.

She is survived by her husband; a son, Dan (Jamie) Erwin of Bloomington; two daughters, Lisa (Tim) Warwick of Bloomington and Lynette (Chuck G.) Giacinto of Streator; a brother, Andrew (Judy) Beumel of Naperville; and six grandchildren, Alexa, Matthew and Danielle Giacinto, Andria Warwick and Jack and Molly Erwin. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Daniel Verne Erwin; and a sister, Marilyn Beumel.
