STREATOR — Edward R. "Ed" Bruck, 72, of Streator, passed away Friday, May 22, in Streator.

Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday, May 29, at Elias Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with burial to follow at St. Stephen's Cemetery. Pallbearers will be members of his family and friends.

Born Aug. 19, 1942, in Streator, he was the son of Charles and Carol (Padgett) Bruck. He married Paula Kudrick on Sept. 25, 1981, in Streator.

He is survived by his wife, Paula, of Streator, sons Kerry (Jamie) Bruck, of Streator, Michael (Pam) Bruck, of Huntley, and daughter Andrea Bruck, of Streator. He also is survived by a sister, Suzanne (Robert) Sterner, of Streator, and many dear nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Ed attended local grade schools and graduated from Streator Township High School in 1960.

He worked at Streator Dependable, ALM and Vactor Manufacturing, retiring in 1995. He was of the Methodist faith.
