Robert J. Bute, 28, 406 South Sterling Street, died suddenly Thursday morning while visiting at the home of his mother, Mrs. Ernest (Maxine) Gentry in Tampa, Fla.
Born Aug. 3, 1941, in Streator, he was the son of the late Harold Bute and the former Maxine Pollett. He married Louise Fialko March 6, 1962, at St. Anthony's Church.
She survives along with three children; Pamela, Brian, and Jamie, all at home; his mother, his wife, a brother Kenneth, Tampa, Fla.; a sister, Mrs. Raymond (Marla) Danko, Streator.
He was preceded in death by his father in 1964.
A resident of Streator all of his life, he had been employed at Thatcher Glass manufacturing Company in the maintenance department.
Visitation will be at Solon funeral home after 3 p.m. Sunday. The Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m.
Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday with Mass of the Resurrection in St. Anthony's Church. Burial will be in St. Stephen's Cemetery.

Bob was my cousin and I remember his beautiful dark, dark slicked back hair and his good looks.My Aunt Maxine (Bob's mom) invited me to live with them most of our senior year so I could finish High School. So of course they all have a special place in my heart.
