STREATOR — Margaret A. "Peggy" Renner, 70, of Streator, passed away Thursday, March 14, at St. Mary's Hospital, Streator.

Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Monday at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Parish Church, Streator. The Rev. Dustin Schultz will officiate. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday at Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator. Burial will be in St. Stephen's Cemetery, Streator. Pallbearers will be Mike Renner, Brad Coughlin, Bill Flanagan, Mike Renner, Kevin Brown and Don Gillan.

Born July 26, 1942, in Streator, she was the daughter of Norbert and Leona (Connor) Coughlin. She married Ken Renner on Nov. 28, 1963, at Immaculate Conception Church, Streator. He survives in Streator.

She also is survived by a brother, Tom (Judy) Coughlin, of Ransom; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Mike and Jean Renner, of Streator, and Mary (Larry) Brown, of Sugar Grove; a granddaughter, Allyson Renner, of Bloomington; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, James Renner.

Raised in the Sunbury area, Peg attended Sunbury Grade School and graduated from Streator High School, Class of 1960.

She lived in the Sunbury and Streator area her lifetime. She was a homemaker through the years.

She was a member of the former Immaculate Conception Church and St. Stephen's Church and currently belonged to St. Michael the Archangel Parish.
