Times PressSTREATOR —Lorraine A. Crawford, 72, of Streator, passed away Sunday, March 1, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, March 5, at St. Michael the Archangel Parish church, Streator. Monsignor Philip Halfacre will officiate. There will be no visitation. Burial will be in St. Stephen's Cemetery, Streator. Family members will serve as pallbearers. Solon-Telford Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Born Oct. 2, 1942, in Streator, she was the daughter of John and Ann (Pastor) Crawford.

She is survived by sisters, Nancy (Tom) Grandinetti, of Moline, Karen (Russell) Ruch, of Crystal Lake, and Kristine (John) Petro, of Plainfield; nephews and nieces, Lisa Schreiber, of Lancaster, Penn., Derek Schreiber, of Dallas, Texas, Shannon (Phil Jackson) Ruch, of Woodstock, Meredith Ruch and Eden Ruch, both of Crystal Lake, Jonathan Ruch, of Eddyville, Ky., Brianna Petro, of Chicago, Doug Petro, of Fox River Grove, Kalissa (Jeff) Shimek, of Carol Stream, and Ben (Lisa) Petro, of Mazon; aunts, Marge Lopeman, Margaret Pastor, Joanne Weth and Dorothy Crawford, all of Streator; and an uncle, Fr. Richard Crawford, of Streator.

She was preceded in death by her parents and an uncle, Howard Lopeman.

Born and raised in Streator, she attended St. Stephen's Grade School and graduated from Streator Township High School, Class of 1960.

She worked for St. Mary's Hospital for 35 years and later worked for Streator Home Building and Loan Association for nine years until her retirement. She lived her lifetime in Streator.

She was a member of the former St. Stephen Church and currently belonged to St. Michael the Archangel Parish.

She was an avid Chicago Cubs fan, following them very closely for many years.
