Marian Forino (Yuhas)

1941-2014

Marian Forino (Yuhas) passed away at 5:22 p.m. Monday, January 20 at St. Margaret's Hospital, Spring Valley.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 25, at Sacred Heart Church Granville, with the Rev. Patrick Demeulemeester officiating.  Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, January 24, at Helmer-Shields Funeral Home, Granville, with a prayer service at 7:45 p.m.  Visitation will also be from 9-9:45 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Marian was born June 22, 1941, in Streator, to Anthony and Ann (Novak) Forino.  She was a member of the Streator High school Class of 1960, and  married James Yuhas on July 22, 1961, in Streator.

She, along with her late husband, James, owned and operated Granville Floor and Wall Covering in Granville since 1967.

Marian was a homemaker and a carinng mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.  She will be greatly missed by the lives she touched.

She is survived by one son, James (Danelle) Yuhas, of McNabb; two daughters, Veronica (Bob) Etzenbach, of Peru, and Melanie (Michael) Sadnick, of Granville; one brother, Paul (Delphine) Forino, of Streator; two sisters, Annie Kettman of Granville, and Patti (Scott) Vogel of Streator; and grandchildren, Derek and Dylan Yuhas, Alex, Jacob, and Karissa Etzenbach, and Brandon, Ryan and Mily Sadnick.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James, in 1992; and a son, Mark, in 2011.
