Margaret Gallick (Bennan)  1942 - 2015
 
        Margaret A. “Margie” Brennan, 72, of E. Peoria and formerly of Streator passed away Sunday, May 24, 2015 at O.S.F. St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. 
        Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:30 A.M. Friday at St. Michael the Archangel Parish Church, Streator.  Rev. Fr. Jacob Rose will officiate. 
       Visitation will be from 4-7 P.M. Thursday at the Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator.  The rosary will be recited at 4:00 P.M. 
       Burial will be in St. Stephen’s Cemetery, Streator. 
       Born November 20, 1942 in Streator she was the daughter of Edmund and Margaret (Tkach) Galick.  She married Robert W. Brennan on May 28, 1966 at St. Stephen’s Church, Streator.  He preceded her in death on January 21, 2000. 
       She is survived by daughters Mary Therese (James) O’Dwyer of Singapore and Jennifer (Brian) Jason of Pekin; a son, Mark Brennan of E. Peoria; grandchildren, James Anderson, Danica O’Dwyer, Brynn O’Dwyer, Ethan Bridson, Sydney Jason and Isabella Jason; and a brother, James (Rosanne) Gallick of Streator. 
       She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. 
       Born and raised in Streator she attended St. Stephen’s Grade School and graduated from Streator High School Class of 1960.  She moved to the Peoria area after she was married. 
       She worked years ago as a Nurse Aide at St. Mary’s Hospital in Streator.  She was a homemaker through the years.   
       She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Peoria. 
       Memorials may be directed to the charity of the donor’s choice.
