RACINE, Wis. -- Ronald F. Imhof, 66, passed away at Stafford Manor, Feb. 28.

Ron was born in Davenport, Iowa, Dec. 25, 1941, to Arthur J. and Francis H. (Wright) Imhof.

Ronald served his country in the United States Army during Vietnam. He was a lifetime member of VFW post 1391. Ron was a communications technician for AT&T working in Texas and Illinois.

He was an avid card player and enjoyed watching Mash, Jag and Walker Texas Ranger. Ron was the king of coffee no matter the time of day he had a cup of coffee in his hand. Most importantly he was a good listener to his children.

Ronald is survived by his children, Christian (Nicole) Imhof, Melissa (Bill) Hulkoff and Carrie (Andrew) Becker; grandchildren, MacKenzie Cole, Nicholas, Reghan and Alexander Imhof, Matthew, Savannah and Liam Hulkoff and Noah, Lillian and Emmalee Crawford; former wife and friend, Cynthia Lensby-Imhof; siblings, Joseph (Polly) and Michael (Elsie) Imhof and Karen (Sid) Sanchez; sisters-in-law, Marian, Diane and Mary Ellen Imhof; and beloved aunt, Blanche Imhof. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Joseph and mother, Francis Harriet Imhof; brothers, David, James and Arthur Imhof; and cousin and best friend, Jerry Kutsch.

Committal service for Ron will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the South Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 21731 Spring Street, Union Grove.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Center for Veterans issues have been suggested.
