Dennis Jay, 1940-1992

Dennis Jay, 52, Wood River IL, died Saturday, November 14, 1992, at Barnes Hospital, St. Louis MO.

Services will be held at 11 a.m.Tuesday at the Paynic Home for Funerals, East Alton, IL. Burial will be in Maple Park Cemetery, Aurora, MO.    Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Born April 4, 1940, in Sholton, MO, he was the son of William R. and Sarah Jane(Maloney) Pohlod of Streator.  He married Wilma Dean Yenne on August 14, 1964 in Aurora MO.  She survives.

Also surviving are daughters, Lisa Jay and Rhonda Jay, both of Wood River; a half brother, Johnny Pohlod, of Streator; a sister Anna Mae Smedberg, of Springfield, MO; and half sisters Gwednolyn Johnson of Streator and Jessie Smith of Marionville, MO.

He was preceded in death by a son, Russell D. Jay.

Memorials may abe directed to the family trust fund.
