Dean Jerde

Dean Jerde died December 5, 1960.

Funeral services for Dean Everett Jerde were held in the Hagi Funeral Home at 2 p.m., Thursday with Rev. Richard Sutherlin, pastor of the Central Church of Christ, officiating.

Burial was held in Hillcrest cemetery at 9:30 a.m., this morning, with Rev. Sutherlin conducting graveside rites.

Larry Jerde, brother of the deceased, who has been stationed in the Phillippine Islands, was delayed in California and unable to attend the funeral.

Mrs. Elizabeth Barber was the organist, accompanying Mrs. Margaret Hood, who sang two selections.

Pallbearers were John Von Ruden, Roger Clark, Donald Russow, Dennis Jay, Ronald Richardson and Kenneth Anderson.  Floral tributes were in charge of Misses Judith Overocker, Mary Lou Ross, Bonnie Woods, and Jo Ann Padgett.

Attending services were Curtis Jerde of Georgia; Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Jerde of Ottawa; and other relatives and friends from Grand Ridge, Pontiac, and the surrounding community.
