Karen Kelly (Muhlstadt)

Karen Kelly (Muhlstadt) 72, of Saint Petersburg, Florida, passed away on Saturday, November 21, 2015.  She was born in Bloomington, IL, on November 27, 1942, to Patrick J. Kelly and Cecelia E. Wypeski, both deceased.

Karen was a registered nurse for 45 years and worked in several areas of the nursing professions.  She was a member of St. Raphael's Catholic Church in Saint Petersburg.  Karen had a wide range of interests including, dooking, sewing, and crafting.  She is preceded in death by her husgand of 54 years, William J. Muhlstadt. Sr.  She is survived by her children, Victoria A. Rodgiquiz, Mary M. Bottieri, William J. Muhlstadt, Jr., Francis H. Muhlstadt, and Cecelia E. Green; 12 granchildren; brothers, Patrick Kelly, Jr. and Michael Kelly.

There will be a funeral mass on Friday, February 26, 2016, at 11:00 A.M. at St. Raphael Catholic Church, 3176 Snell Isle Blvd, St. Petersburg, FL 33704.  Karen will be interred next to her husband, William, following Mass at 1:30 P.M. at Bay Pines National Cemetery.
