Very sorry to read this notice this morning.   This obituary empahsized what a genuinely good person Pat was,  and  I can attest to that.  Her and my last names were next to each other alphabetically which meant that we were seated  next to each other in home room for four years.   I've lived most of my adult life out of the Streator area but when we met at a couple of reunions she welcomed me  like an old friend.  Pat had a good run.  Too bad it didn't last a little longer, for she will be missed by many.   RIP Pat.  Pete McGuire

I first met Pat in Sunday School class at Park Church when we were 9.  The class included other SHS Class of 1960 stars, such as Karen Knoedler, Don Moore, Kay Arthur, Margo Eilts, and Janet Woodruff.  When I finally moved into Streator and began SHS as a sophomore, Pat was one of those who helped me get started in such a large new place.  She truly was a good and helpful person.
