STREATOR —Robert P. Matsko, 73, of Streator, passed away Wednesday evening, May 18, at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Ottawa.
A combined visitation for Bob and Mary, who passed away July 28, 2014, will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday at Winterrowd Funeral Home. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
Bob was born Oct. 26, 1942, in Streator, to Peter and Lola (Defenbaugh) Matsko. He married Mary K. Sullivan on Oct. 27, 1962. She passed away July 28, 2014.
Surviving are children, Mark Matsko, of Streator, Tina (William) Keeney, of Utica, and Todd (Amy) Matsko, of Princeton; three grandchildren, William Keeney, of Florida, and Marisia and Kayleigh Matsko, of Princeton; brothers, Gerald "BoBo" (Mary) Matsko, of Streator, and David Matsko, of Brownstown; and sisters, Janet Benstine and Charese (Kent) Richards, both of Streator.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
Bob attended St. Stephen's Grade School and Streator High School.
He retired from Owens-Illinois Glass after 42 years.
Bob was a member of the Lazy Acres Sportsman's Club. He loved watching the birds and deer grazing in his back yard, fishing and hunting.
Memorials may be made to the family of Robert Matsko for a memorial to be determined.
