Streator Times Press Thomas J. Nagle 1942-2007 12/05/2007, 9:58 am STREATOR -- Thomas J. "Tommy" Nagle, 65, of Streator, died Tuesday morning, Dec. 4, at St. Mary's Hospital in Streator. Mass of Christian burial will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday at Immaculate Conception Church in Streator with Monsignor John J. Prendergast officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Streator. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Solon, Baker & Telford Funeral Home in Streator with a vigil service at 4 p.m.
Mr. Nagle was born April 18, 1942, in Streator, to Thomas B. and Louise Margaret (Sauers) Nagle. He married Bonnie Bakalar on Jan. 23, 1981.
He attended Streator Township High School. He was an over-the-road truck driver for many years, retiring about 10 years ago.
He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church.
He is survived by his wife; his mother of Streator; one daughter, Melanie Bakalar of Ottawa; one son, Thomas W. of Streator; a granddaughter, Katelynn Gray; two sisters, Peggy Flahaut and Sue Krocker, both of Streator; and a brother, Michael (Sherry) of Streator.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Pallbearers will be Howard Hedrick, Jerry McCurdy, Mike Donahue, Eric Gray, Dick Huffines and Chris Pfalzgraf.
Memorials may be directed to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
