STREATOR — Carol Ann Gardner, 72, of Streator, passed away Thursday morning, Sept. 25, at her home.
Cremation rites will be accorded. Memorial visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 29, at Winterrowd Funeral Home. Memorial services will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday at St. Michael the Archangel Church. Burial will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery.
Carol was born Feb. 5, 1942, in Streator, to Albert and Virginia (Rohlman) Norman.
Surviving are daughter, Vickie (Ron) Salisbury, of Streator; sons, Benjamin (Nancy) Gardner, of Virginia, Kevin Gardner, of Georgia, and Chris (Lisa) Gardner, of Colorado; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Sandy Babey, of Champaign; brother, Greg Norman, of Streator; and several nieces and nephews.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents.
Carol attended St. Anthony's Grade School and Streator Township High School. She was a member of the Class of 1960.
She retired from Owens-Illinois Glass in 2000.
She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Church.
Memorials may be made in Carol's name to the American Lung Association.
