Pam Phalen (Vogel), 71, passed away Monday , September 1, 2014, in Locust Grove, Georgia.

Pam was born in Streator, the daughter of the late Frank Phalen and Mary Beatrice Pauli Phalen.  She also was preceded in death by daughters, Chrissy Vogel and Juleene Hrasch; and a brother, Greg Phalen.

Pam was a faithful member of Locust Grove United Methodist Church.  She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and was known for her loving personality.

Pam was an avid reader, enjoyed swimming, flea markets, sewing, crafts, crocheting, knitting, and flower gardening.

Survivors include her husband, Neil Vogel of Locust Grove; children Jenna Humber (Brad), of Fayetteville, Ga., Jodie Williamson (Michael), of Spanish Fort, Ala., Jamie Gallagher (John) of McDonough, Ga., and Connie Cimei (Jeff) of Magnolia; grandchildren, Bradley, Travis, Patrick, Nicholas, Shawn, Brittany, Katie, Thomas and Tiffany; brother, Jerry Phalen (Dieter), San Diego, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial servies and celebration of life will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 5, at Locust Grove United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jim Buckman and the Rev. Dale Fuller  officiating.  Interment will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Haisten Funeral Home, McDonough.
