Trudy Simons (Sala)

October 2, 1942 - November 28, 2016

Trudy L. Sala, 74 of Streator passed away Monday November 28, 2016, at Heritage Health Nursing Home, Streator.
 

A Visitation was held onThursday, December 1, 2016, from 10 a.m. to noon at Winterrowd Funeral Home. Services were at Noon at the funeral home with Pastor Rodney Kreier officiating. Burial was in Riverview Cemetery.

Trudy was born on October 2, 1942 to Ralph Joseph and Pearl Margaret (Igel) Simons. She married Art Sala on June 2, 1965 in Peoria IL. He survives in Streator.

Also surviving are one sister; Pamela (Ronald) Pfalzgraf of Streator, a brother; Rodney (Sheila) Simons of Odell, sister in law; Linda Johnson of Rockford, Nephews; Jack Sala, Todd (Janice)Pfalzgraf, Mark Pfalzgraf, Kirk (Shelby)Pfalzgraf and Robert Simons, niece Renee (Terry) Trenor and several great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Brother and sister in law; Ralph (Roxanne) Simons, brother in law; Jack Sala and nephew Kevin Pfalzgraf.

She and her husband co-owned Lorraine Studio for many years. Trudy was a graduate of the Streator Township High School class of 1960.
