Classmate Dale Trenor, 72,  died Tuesday morning, Nov. 25, at St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 1, at Hagi Funeral Home, Streator, with the Rev. Greg Olson officiating. Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 30, at Hagi Funeral Home. Burial with flag-folding rites conducted by members of American Legion Post 217 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1492 will be in Emery Green Cemetery, rural Streator.

Mr. Trenor was born Oct. 6, 1942, in Streator, the son of Dale J. and Gertrude (Jolin) Trenor. He married Jackie Alderman on Aug. 28, 1965, at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church. She preceded him in death on Nov. 1, 2010.

Dale had been employed as a pipefitter and later worked in maintenance for several banks while living in Florida and after moving back to Streator did maintenance for Streator Elementary Schools.

He was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church and the Streator Eagles Lodge. He was an avid bowler.

He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1961 to 1965. He attended Streator schools and was a graduate of Streator Township High School, Class of 1960.

He is survived by one daughter, Kimberly Steinhauer, Naples, Fla.; one son, David Trenor, Streator; six grandchildren, Amber Rodriguez, Kristina Modica, Ashlee Bauman, Kaylee Trenor, Brooke Lyn Smith and Brandon Steinhauer; two great-grandchildren, Davon Modica and Abbigail Bauman; and one sister, Jolene Bruck, Streator.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one brother, Jerry Trenor, and two siblings in infancy.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
