Nancy Wagner (Yanello)

Classmate, Nancy Wagner (Yanello) 75 of Plainfield, Illinois, passed away at St. Joseph's Medical Center, in Joliet. Monday evening, May 21.

Following cremation a visitation will be held Friday from 11-1 PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held Friday at 1PM at the Funeral Home.  Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery in Streator.

Nancy was born on September 3, 1942, in Streator to John B. and Alice (Gerber) Wagner II.  She married Jerry Yanello on December 1, 1962.  He survives.

Also surviving are children Jerry (Julie) Yanello Jr. of Huston, Texas, Lynn (Richard) Yoerk of Mahomet, and Bob(Kim) Yanello of Joliet, grandchildren Marcus and Devyn Yanello, Ryan Stanley and Michael Yoerk, Jonathan and Alice Yanello and Ashlee Cravatta and a great-grandson Case Hudson Cravatta, borthers Richard Wagner of Morris and Robert (Cindy) Wagner of Galesburg and several nieces and nephews.

Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, brother John Wagner, sisters Marilyn Risley and Ruth Kmetz.

Nancy retired from the Red Cross and was employed at St. Mary's Hospital in the Lab as a technician for many years.  She attended Streator Grade Schools and graduated from Streator High School with the Class of 1960.

Nancy was a volunteer coach at the Streator YMCA for the swim team, and she also coached girls softball teams.  Nancy also enjoyed gardening and doing arts and crafts.
