After high school, I moved to (Ft. Stewart) Savannah, Georgia, Baumholder, Germany, and (Ft. Knox) Louisville, Kentucky. I went to college and earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management with an emphasis in Finance. Then I went to work as a Corporate Banker. I got divorced in 1999 and in 2000 I chose to move back to Arkansas. I lived in DeWitt and worked at the courthouses in Stuttgart and DeWitt. On June 7, 2003, I married Brad Carey. After we married, I decided to stay at home and become a full time wife and mother. It has been the greatest joy in my life. In August 2005, we moved to Atoka, Oklahoma where Brad is in the oil field industry and Morgan just turned 18 and is graduating in May. Chelsea just turned 15 and will begin high school in the fall.
School Story:
HIGH SCHOOL:
OK...one of the most memorable things I can remember about high school would have to be the day that I hit Derek Sorrow's car at lunch when I was trying to back out of the parking lot. Every time I think about that, I still feel terrible :-) Sorry Derek...and you were such a good sport about it! What a guy.
JR HIGH:
I was just sitting here thinking about when we were in Jr. High and Missy Short made that yellow dress in home Ec that had one arm longer than the other LOL! and we had to model those in front of the whole school. And then the next semester we were suppose to be learning how to cook, and the Home Ec teacher took Missy's hand and rubbed it all in the supposed-to-have-been "dry ingredients" because we put the bowl in the cabinet with water in it! and then she made us "GET OUR BOOKS AND GO TO THE OFFICE" again!!!
Dee Anne and me on 1/1/1995 when I returned from Germany.
