Damon Oates

After graduation I joined the Army for a brief four year tour.I joined for the college money, but ended up using it for a trade school instead.(smart move)Joined the Plumbers and Pipefitters Union in Alaska where I work now as an Instrumentation Foreman.

When Kenny Hill's sister brought us three large pizza's before an away track meet.We ate those pizza's and couldn't run at all. We got BURNT'. That was the last time we got pizza from Kenny's sister!But,as a whole, I had a bunch of fun with alot of my classmates.Went through the good and the bad,the ups and the downs.And every time I come home I'm always shown alot of love from my classmates that are still there.I'm still the same old Damon Lee Oates, and that will never change no matter where I touch down.And when asked where I'm from, I say it loud and proud. STUTTGART, ARKANSAS!Because truly, there's no place like home.And to my classmates that have passed on from this life to be with our ancestors,keep a close watch over us and our little ones. I wish you were here.To everyone else,keep doing what you have to do so you can do what you want to do. Keep tha peace. Damon
