Saranie- NO WAY would I wish upon my worst enemy the cold weather we went thru on those trips. You would probably agree, but even duck hunting, I never got that cold. Glad to hear your family is doing great. Your mom and dad were absolute troopers too, and you know how much I love your mom. Just an ANGEL. I bet she has never even raised her voice? Wait, with you guys as sons, I better retract that. Tell everyone I said hi, would you? Tabitha- girl you are too sweet. Yep, there is no question everyone has...well..issues that they deal with on a daily basis. It is great to hear people talk about their walk with Christ. EARLY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!! Tricia- I will be in contact with you once Abigail gets older. I will need some help! Is Bringing up Boys a book just for the woman to read about raising boys? Or could I read it as well? There is a book out there that EVERY guy should read if he has a daughter "She Calls Me Daddy". I highly recommend it. It gave me a totally new perspective on raising Abigail. Showed me how much of an idiot I am/was. David- How are things in Iraq? Give us some updates from time to time, would ya? Keeping you in our prayers..... I have a suggestion...toss it in the trash if you like..but has anyone thought of possibly hiring a photographer for the reunion? I think it would be a good idea for us to do so, then possibly at our 30 year reunion, we could do the same? Just a thought! HAPPY 4th! EVERYONE BE SAFE! Oh, by the way........Jason did you get LORI to model for that Snowman? That's funny right there, I don't care who you are.

03/07/08 11:13 AM #254     Lauren Hartz (Clark) Tabitha- happy early birthday since you will not be around! I will put the photographer on the list of thing to remember when the event gets closer. Suggestions like that are why I started this web site! What I want to know is when you all have time to read all these books! My day consists of a soon to be 3 year old terror, a soon to be 9 year old priss and her social life, a 13 year old drama queen and her social life every other week, personal accounts, business accounts, full time receptionist, landscape designing, meeting with clients, planning a wedding in my back yard that I am not even going to be in town for, and all the other things that have to do with running a "normal" house i.e. laundry, dishes, trash, house cleaning....Again, I ask WHEN DO YOU ALL HAVE TIME TO READ!?!?!?!? I hear about all these Bible studies and guidance books that I would love- Do they have Cliff Notes for any of these books! ha ha Okay EVERYONE- I have concluded that the majority of people want to have the reunion during homecoming so I am going to change the survey to locations. If anyone has suggestions of locations, please let me know. I am thinking that we need to start making arrangements. The last reunion was a problem because of the other class that was then having their 20 year reunion. Because I do not live in Stuttgart any more, I know there are some new potential places to have it. I need your feed back on what you all want to do also. Make a weekend of it? What would you TRULY attend? I will work on a survey to try and get these questions answered. LET US HEAR FROM YOU! If you don't put in your 2 cents now- no $%@#&ing later! :)

03/07/08 01:52 PM #255     Hannah Hancock (Maier) Hello everyone! Robin called me lasst week and asked who I used for shirts because they were wanting to do shirts for a pre-reunion also. There are 2 companies that I use for all the t-shirts I do( softball, baseball, DBS, Deca, class shirts, prom, spring fling, etc..) One is BSW Advertising in Plummerville, AR. We send them the design or tell them what we want on it and they design it. The cost depends on the color shirt and how many colors of ink you have, front & back and the qty. The other company is www.metrogreek.com. We send the design to them and they will do the same as BSW. With BSW he will send a bill in 5 days and with Metrogreek you have to pay by credit card when you order them. We may want to get prices from all 3 places. just a thought. I think a photographer would be great. Strain photography in Conway came down and did the DBS winter formal pictures and then took candids all night. They will post them on the web or send out a book for you to order them. Just a thought. Talk to ya'll later.

I think it is great that you as a father are reading parenting books. Dr. Dobson is in the process of writing "Bringing Up Girls". I think it will be out either the end of this year or beginning of next year. I need all the help I can get!! I think if my parents had actually talked to me about some things I would have made some different decisions. But who knows? That is all hindsight. Lauren-I usually have to read books in small spurts. I do try to get in a really in depth bible study at least once a year. The last one lasted 11 weeks and had homework everyday so it is a big commitment. I absolutely love it though. I never knew how interesting it could be! Just ask the Lord to help you make time for studying his Word and I promise you He will do it. Tabitha-Happy early birthday!

Tricia and Scott I have done Bringing Up Boys (the book and the video series) and it was so good. I still refer back to it alot. If you ever get a chance to see the videos...please do. They were great. James Dobson voice just makes me calm down. Another book that is really good for practical everyday discipline is Lisa Welchel's (remember Blair from the Facts of Life)Creative Correction. This book is definetly one I keep handy. Lauren I don't know how you do all that either. Girl, you are busy! I will say, since I have kids...I have become a late night owl. I feel like my day is just beginning when I get my kids to bed. I do alot of my reading or whatever at night. Don't be fooled though. I'm not a big reader. I like to do a class associated with whatever book I'm wanting to read. If I can watch a video along with a book that makes lots easier for me. Its like my cliff notes.

Darren and I are going to get a small group together and do a marriage enhancement study. I think we start with "The Five Love Languages". I thought that would be light hearted enough that it wouldn't scare anyone off! I don't mind getting down deep in a bible study but some people are intimidated by that so I want to work them in slowly. Thanks for the info on the video series on Bringing Up Boys. I think Amy did that at her church. I will have to ask her if I can borrow the videos if they have them. Have a Great 4th everyone!!

I'll drop a letter in the mail Monday to them. When I talked to Shelly Fisher's father about two years ago, he said she was married and living close to Hazen. Some one might give him a call, there is only one Fisher in the telephone book for Stuttgart. Last I heard from Ed Barham was over 5 years ago,and he was a Baptist Pastor down in Alabama. That's all the folks I know who have not put up a profile on site. Wes

Also, I saw Mickey Rhodes in Kroger on Chenal and got his info, but I did not see him on the profile page. Maybe he did not graduate? What do you suggest I do for him? I told him I would email this web page to him.

06/07/08 02:01 PM #267     Tricia Orlicek (Brown) Lauren-I know Micky is our age, I am not sure if he actually graduated high school or if he got his GED later. I guess I will have to ask him. He may be in the same situation that Jason Graham and Shain Parker are. They consider themselves with the class of 88 but actually walked with us because they did not have the credits to graduate with their class. If this is the case should I send this email to him? I feel bad because I told him about it. I just assumed he graduated with us because I went to school with him from day one pretty much.

Believe it or not, I heard a co worker talking on the phone one day to him....he still sounds the same. I went over and gave him the information, but he has not signed up yet. I just went to search for a email address for him and found one. I sent an email to him.

You have loved her for years! Tricia-Raising up boys is great for both Men and Women. I am thrilled about Raising up girls. Was it you or Beth that told us that?? That is great about you guys starting a Bible study there. I have read that book too. I LOVE reading Christian books that is what I do with any free time I get. I would love to sit down with you girls and chat about all this stuff..really enjoyed the forum. Wesley I noticed you gave a lot of info on people thanks for doing that for everyone!! Oh I saw Dana for about two seconds (but I saw her children longer) on the lake this weekend, so Dana if you are learking on this site ever or if someone talks to her tell her I can't believe how big her kids are...they are wonderful!

I talked with Judge Rogers and he gave me Matt's e-mail address. I also sent Diltra an e-mail last week and told her that if she didn't create her profile I would~ ha ha She finally did it! YEAH for Diltra. I'm also trying to get Dennis Sheltons' e-mail addrewss from his ex-wife. I have e-mailed Nancy Papan lots about the web site and she hasn't created her profile yet. I will send everyone her address and maybe if we all send her an e-mail she may sign up. Amy Johnson e-mailed me and said that she didn't have Scott l. Johnsons e-mail, but that she told him about it. I just don't know why some of thees people won't at least create their profile. Does anyone know where Steven Philips is now? I printed out the list of missing classmates and about 16 I know are in the Stuttgart area. I will try to contact them somehow!! I feel like I should be working with the FBI. Just joking. Ashley~ I see Dana every sunday in church. Chase is 16 going on 17 in August. Him and Samantha are in the same grade. He's a great kid. Jon Cameron and Callie are also great kids. Their house got hit pretty hard from the Tornado. Chase was @ the house getting ready to go to the DeWitt prom with Hillary Dunklin and Tiffany's husband stopped by to check on him and then they took cover and it hit the house. Thanks the LORD that Chase was not alone @ that time. We got a new dog Sunday night and we are trying to come up with a good name. Cache wants "Drake" and Samantha said no~ So she gets on line and pulls up the 101 Dalmation dog names and starts reading them to me. Can anyone name all 101 names? ha ha I bet ya'll are trying to think of at least 5 names. :-) Hope everyone had a great 4th. Tabitha~ Sorry to hear about the family. You have been in my prayers. I just got a chance to read some of the messages everyone has been posting. It's late and I need to catch some sleep. Talk to ya'll tomorrow. Good night!
