Jerry-Hey great to hear from you! How are you? We love when new people join us. So just dive in and catch up with us all. It has been really great connecting with everyone!

Tricia Orlicek (Brown)

Lori- you have to copy their site from our home page and paste it in your website space at the top of the computer page and then go to it. On your classmate profile there is a box you can check to keep anyone that is not a classmate from viewing your profile. Some of the class of 88 has done that. You can view the people who have not checked the box and also their forum.

Jerry-great to hear from you! Glad to hear you are doing well and are planning to come to the reunion!

I moved back and forth from Little Rock to Stuttgart until I got married in 1991. I lived with Leah Willett in two different places. I lived with Cathy Stratton once, and I lived with Ginger Holloway for about 3 months until I got married. Darren and I lived in Carlisle for about 6 months and then moved back to Stuttgart. We lived in Stuttgart for 10 years until we moved to Roe in 2002 due to Darren working for Farm Bureau. We have to live in the county he works for (Monroe County).

I love the question also. I have been enjoying reading all of the postings. But, I have been out for the past week on vacation with my family one more time right before school starts back up on Monday. We just took the short trip up to Branson and had a great time and finally nice cool weather.

Price, it is so good to hear from you and that you are doing well. We all kinda figured that you would end up in something around politics. Your points were short and sweet. The funny thing is that these 2 candidates are such polar opposites on almost every subject, as you mentioned. To me the biggest things that stand out are the "family rights", mainly abortion. I think as a country we have to get right with God on that very important issue.

Anyway, this is where we have been since SHS:

Fayetteville - 2 years
Rogers - 3 years
Centerton - 3 years
Little Flock - 8 years (yes Little Flock, probably haven't heard of it have you, a great little quant community just north of Rogers that was probably our favorite place to live)
Gentry - 3 years

Hey everybody
I've been missing reading all the post the past few days. I just got caught up. Yesterday I sent Jack to his first day of kindergarten. He did fine....I cried like a baby.

Lauren
I love the question. I feel stupid though because you guys remember exact times you were in a place. Now I can remember parties in high school, what I wore to them, who I left with and so on, but I can't remember exactly how long I lived in places...so, I am guessing!!
Little Rock 2 years
Fayettville 1 year???
Little Rock 7 years
Memphis 9 years

For everyone that does not live around LR. There was a shooting today at the Democratic Headquarters. The scarey thing is I was walking to subway which is located right in front of the capitol and everything was fine. The headquarters is less than a block from subway on the other side of the street. We came right back out less than 5 minutes later and the street was blocked and police were every where with the crime tape out. This has not been offically confirmed, but Party Chairman Bill Gwatney was transported to the hospital in critical condition.

Lauren Hartz (Clark)

Carolyn-WOW! Arn't you glad you missed that one. I have been in Stuttgart all day and have not seen the TV.

Stephanie Turney- Nice to run into you and your son at lunch!

Glad everyone likes the question about where they have lived. It is interesting to read! ESPICALLY WES! When will the book on your life be published? I am sure it is interesting!

Shelley Fisher- Welcome to the forum....stay tuned! It gets interesting.

Tricia Orlicek (Brown)

Caroyln-I just saw on the news where Bill Gwatney died. How tragic!! They also said that after a police chase that ended in Sheridan the suspect was shot after an exchange of gun fire with police.

13/08/08 07:35 PM #645

Carolyn Tanksley (Wall)

Yes the entire situation is just horrible! Now that the shooter is dead, I am curious as to if they will ever find out his motive. It was VERY hectic around the capitol this afternoon. Like I said, when it first happened, we knew it was bad because people from inside the capitol were coming out and Beebe's staff was running up and down the street. They had us on lock down for a bit until they had the suspect captured. The parking around there is always horrible so pretty much we either bring our lunch or walk to nearby places to eat so that we don't lose our parking spaces. I never think about those kind of things happening when I am out walking around.

On a lighter note, Hannah, I met your friend Nikki today. I was invited to join the England Heritage Club here and last night was my first meeting. She was not able to attend the meeting since we finally got some rain around here so her and husband went out for their anniversary. But, I was mowing my lawn this afternoon, and her and some more neigbors were walking and they stopped and chatted for a few.

Carolyn-I know Nicki Canada....have not seen her in a long time, but we were all friends of Brad Canada(her brother). Tell her hello from me (if she remembers me). I bet Lauren knows her well. So sad about the whole shooting today, please everyone pray for that family and everyone involved.

Scott-Glad you have rejoined us! Keep in touch.
Love reading your comments...

Everyone else jump on in and don't be shy we love hearing from all of you!!

Hey Shelly Glad you joined in. I meant to tell you hello earlier!

Yes- I know Nikki. She and her ex were good friends of ours when we lived there. Her ex is actually Grace's godfather and we still see a lot of him. He actually got remarried in our back yard a few weeks ago. Grace and Nikki's daughter, Blair, are the same age and friends.

Jil that is good to hear. One of my good friends here Stacy Jeans is always having some kind of party. I myself am about ready to have another Southern Living party. I am addicted to that stuff, and a new book just came out this month. The last one I had was in December. Maybe I could invite you!
