My formative educational (2 year) experience at Jordan Kindergarten was SOO valuable. That time of learning has gone by the wayside.


Today's Day-Schools are nothing more than glorified day care dumps; kids are deposited there by their working parents. No active learning happens.

One day at Jordan School (1965), My Dad and I were to take pictures at Chandler Studio. I was dressed up in a picturesque Sailor Suit. White-On-White-In-White!. Mama said, "Your Father will take you to Chandler's after school for a Father and Son Photo...DON'T GET DIRTY!. Whatta ya think happened...

The playground at the rear of the school had swings with a red clay sanded surface. I was a Playground Leader...WHITE became REDDD. That evening, 'Dad Saw RED!' Being part Indian, his face became Very Re...!
