After graduation, I went to Shorter College and earned a BS in Early Childhood Education. After college graduation, I taught 3rd grade for three years at Pennville Elementary and SIA for two years. While teaching at Pennville, I completed my Master's in Early Childhood Education at Jax State. I left Pennville to teach at Chickamauga Elementary. There I taught 4th grade for five years, 2nd grade for two years, and served as Media Specialist for two years. During my time at Chickamauga, I completed my Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction from University of Sarasota, my Media add-on from Indiana State, and my greatest accomplishment by far, the birth of my beautiful daughter Sela. She is our miracle baby. After leaving Chickamauga, I went to work at Pleasant Grove Elementary in Dalton, Georgia, as the Media Specialist. I love it there and Sela will begin kindergarten there in the fall. I have a wonderful husband and daughter and cannot wait for you all to meet them. God has blessed me so much more than I deserve.
