OK, we've had a little fun with a couple of questions from days gone by. They were easily answered in short time. This one is going to be a little harder, I hope.

I'm sure there are many of you that remember Bow Distrubuting on the hiway. It was there for quite some time, but like many stores, it ended up closing down. After it's demise, it became a business that lasted a few months. You might remember it as other things, but I'm looking for one particular enterprise it became. The only clue I will give is that guys might remember it better as driving entertainment.

I'm looking for the name of this not too long lasted venture and what the fun was in the old Bow building.

The Starlite drive in or Big R

Starlite Drive In was there before Bow and this is before it became Big R.

 I don't remember the name of it but it was a slot car raceway.  It was a lot of fun.

John, you got the slot car part...... you dog!! BUT, you have to have the name too! That might be the hardest part, I guess? Keep working on it :-)

John and Tom got both answers. If Tom Thumb ever comes back, maybe they can get a free month of racing for getting the answers.

What I remember of Tom Thumb Racing, they had two tracks. One larger and longer track with lots of curves, one that was smaller. You paid more to race on the larger track. Each track had six to eight lanes. If you didn't have your own car, you could also rent their cars. If you didn't have enough change to race, they also had some pinball machines to stuff your dimes and quarters in.

Tom, you lived close by. I'm sure you spent as much time there as you could while it lasted.
