Tom Graves

We pastor a small church in un-incorporated Basin City, WA. (Souteast of Othello, southwest of Connell, north of Pasco & in the middle of nowhere!) During the week I work at Lourdes Medical Center in Pasco in the Surgical Services department. I also volunteer as an EMT with our area ambulance service, where I am currently serving as Captain of our station. I've been so very blessed with a lovely lady who has put up with me for over 20 years of marriage, and we have two beautiful children. I am blessed beyond anything I deserve and I am so very thankful to for the great blessings of God poured out upon us through Christ our Savior.

So many stories, so many memories - 30 years ago already!?! One of the oddest stories is being left in Othello following a basketball game. Luckily they stopped to eat then came back for me after realizing I wasn't there. On the upside, Coach Asan bought my dinner so that I wouldn't tell my Mom! (It didn't work!; boy, was she upset). Mostly I remember talking and laughing a WHOLE lot. Toni Rausch would put me between Mark Durbin and John Cruz so that I would be a "good influence" on them - I would tell them jokes and when they laughed, she would tell them to quit bothering me! Go, T.R.! Crazy cheers, a kazoo band, PEP club, drama, football games, track events, and so it just keeps going.....
