Although this last year has been a financial strain, I am the richest man. My wife and I celebrated our 25th anniversary on March 13, My daughter Ashley is married for 3 years. My oldest son is serving a mission in Mongolia and is on temporary assignment in Forks Washington until his visa is reissued. My youngest Son Michael is a senior in highschool and will leave for his mission in January 2011. Location TBD. All of my children are a blessing and upstanding young adults. I could not possibly be more blessed with my wife and children.

Dave Hiatt and I, as our senior prank, decided to paper the school with roles of unprinted newspaper stock. Half way through our job, we took a break at the 7-11 and watched the police drive by, while we had a big gulp and a mega cheese buritto. We then finished the prank. With me hanging out of the bed of the truck with a broomstick through the middle of the roll and David driving like a bat out of hell. (we were bullet proof and stupid) We finished papering the front lawn, between the buildings and upper and lower Terry street. I can't tell you how many times I almost fell out of the truck while David was laughing and driving.

The funniest part of it was my father coming home from work, bragging about someone papering the town and the high school. We sat straight faced and kept saying "no kidding", "really" and "wow". We may have fooled my Dad, but not my Mom....She just laughed, she knew what we did.

After graduation, I worked at Hanford Nuclear Site until I left to serve as a missionary for the Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Charlotte, NC mission from 1983-1984. I married LaRae Lewis from Mt. Airy, NC in March of 1985. We have been blessed with three children: Ashley (14) born in Sunnyside, WA in Feb. 1986, Bradley (11) born in Durham, NC in 1989, and Michael (8) born in Sunnyside in 1991. We lived in North Carolina for twelve years, during which time I worked as a Driver's License Examiner for 6 years, then ventured to open a convience store, which didn't fly, and left us broke. I worked for Hospice of Surry County, until I was hired by Centel Telephone Company. Knowing they only hired "from within", I was able to get my foot in the door as a janitor. Six months later, I was able to advance to a "technician". Over the past 7 years, my career has advanced from "land-line telephone" to "cellular telephone" to microwave communications" to "Competitive Local Exchange Carrier". I now work for Winstar Wireless as the Senior Customer Operations Specialist in Tampa, FL, where we've been for 2 years.
