Dean was a dear friend and although we communicated infrequently and I saw him rarely, we enjoyed the moments we shared. He spent all of his later years in Wyoming, the state he always talked about returning to when we were at Sunnyvale High. He was killed in a single vehicle auto accident in Utah while towing a large trailer.
