John Given

I struggled for the first several years after high school figuring out what I wanted to do. I bounced around between several different jobs, colleges, military, etc. For those of you who knew Michael Wilson before he and his family moved, Mikey was in a car accident in 1992 that left him paralized. I had always stayed in close contact w/ Mikey and eventually moved to Charleston, WV to hang out w/ him for a while. I eventually ended up finishing school and getting a real job and about 6 years ago I married Dani Thaxton from Sissonville. In the last 6 years we've built a house in Sissonville and had 2 little girls. I've definately done a lot of growing up in the last 6 years and I couldn't be happier. As you can probably see from my photos, i'm very proud of my girls and my family means the world to me.
