After graduating way back in 1989, I went on to Clarkson University in Potsdam, NY where I received a BS in Accounting.
I luckily received a few offers out of school and moved to Albany, NY and began a career with KPMG, where I earned my CPA.
After working too many hours as a public accountant for 3 years, I wanted a life so I left and joined GE in Schenectady, NY where I have been ever since. I have had many different positions throughout 12 years including being the controller of the benefit plans worth $86 billion, but my latest position as a global internal auditor allows me manage a few great teams and travel internationally when I want to.
I met my wife Amy in 1996 and we were married in 1998 and traveled the world many times before we settled down and had a daughter back in 2005.
The one thing I have done differently from high school is I started playing hockey in college and I have never stopped since then. I am President of a non-profit hockey corporation which supports adult hockey competition.
One of the events we have every year is playing in Lake Placid, NY on the Olympic Ice which is lots of fun.
