It is so nice to scroll through the faces and share in the journey life has taken so many of you.

I can hardly believe it has been 20 years. Braces, hair color and a little sunshine can do a girl a world of good.

There are a lot of fun memories of MVU...too many for this small space.

After attending my grandparents 50th wedding anniversary in Florida, I decided to trade in snow and sleet for the sunshine and sandy beaches of Sarasota. I attended Liberty University and fell in to the wonderful world of insurance almost 17 years ago.

I own an Allstate agency in Sarasota, FL and when I started working in this business 16 years ago at Smith, Bell & Thompson in Burlington I knew selling insurance was a great fit for me. Not a day has gone by that I have regretted this career choice.

My other addiction is long distance running. I have completed 6 marathons which is even hard for me to believe and compete in many of the local 5K's.

When I am not working or running, I spend a great deal of time volunteering at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota County. I have been blessed in my adult life. I feel it is so important to give back to the community in which you live and work.
